Hello,

We are working now with Bill Daniel, photographer and filmmaker,
on updates to his website, a limited portfolio of prints, and a new
site offering affordable photo prints from his extensive archive from
his darkroom in Braddock, PA.

MONIKER

Limited portfolio of 5 archival 11x14 prints of the freight writers featured
in his film "Who Is Bozo Texino?" for $250. The pictures were selected
for both image and story: exceptional both as studies in light and tone,
and rarity among enthusiasts of marks on train cars.

Bill's shy to mention it, but last year he had a Guggenheim fellowship,
and put the time that afforded into making a home out in this strange
abandoned town of Braddock, PA. Empty buildings, endless rust, and
the unending hum of the steel mill.

Part of his life here includes a return to the practice of photography
and of printing, an impossible luxury during his years on the road.
Bill's putting together a darkroom here and we're putting together a
little online store to share what comes out of the bathtub.

All photos 8x10, all hand-printed from film negatives, all $25.

It'll be whatever he feels inclined to print, from his archives of texas punk,
west coast skate, sf mission school, or van travels around the country
with his film show. Probably some new heroes of urban pioneering and
DIY agriculture, down the line.

We hope you'll find something you like in this first wave of prints, and
that you'll sign up for Bill's mailing list to keep up on additions to T-X-N.

As well as giving you the first peek at these new works, OM would
like your help ensuring the sites work properly. This is the first time
we've worked so deeply with an artist on the architecture of the website
and hope we haven't gone too far from the beaten path. If you're on one
of these sites and something doesn't work, please let us know by email.
We appreciate your time, enthusiasm, and response.

Thanks for letting us email you.
